Books in the City is an independently owned bookshop in Grand Rapids, Michigan dedicated to offering the best selection of new books and novelties. The bookshop was established in 2024 by long-time bookseller and founder of We Are LIT, Kendra McNeil.

With its well-stocked retail space, McNeil is on a mission to carve a literary niche in downtown Grand Rapids' growing culture and arts scene while also establishing Books in the City as a place of connection and discovery for residents and visitors alike.
